In January this year, it was Ant Wan and Veronica Maggio who took home the most awards, two each. But when the P3 Gold Gala is held on January 22, 2025, it's other artists who have the most chances of winning the statuettes.
Ant Wan is indeed nominated in the live category Guldmicken, but otherwise, it's Benjamin Ingrosso who appears to be the evening's winner at the gala held at Cirkus in Stockholm. He can win prizes in the categories Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Guldmicken.
Close behind are the trio Amanda Bergman, Molly Sandén, and the Gothenburg band Terra with three nominations, and then Miriam Bryant and Robyn, who are nominated for two prizes each.
Ten of the artists are nominated for the gala for the first time, including rapper C Gambino, who was shot to death in June this year.
Hosting the gala is Christopher Garplind, who in an interview with TT has stated that the only recurring point in P3 Gold's history is that there's always drama.
I really hope it happens this year too.
