During the extinguishing of the powerful fire on Saturday morning, the rescue service discovered a suspected dangerous object that was later neutralized by the bomb squad. It has now been revealed to be a live thermos bomb, according to GP.
It is a kind of homemade device with some form of explosive content, says Fredrik Svedemyr, the police's press spokesperson, to the newspaper.
According to the police, it is unclear how the bomb ended up there and they are investigating whether there is any connection to the fire.
Prior to this, the incident was being investigated as arson and the police have now also filed a report on serious crime against the law on fire-hazardous and explosive goods as well as attempted public destruction.
No one is suspected in the investigation.
