Silver again – after yet another lost duel against Ebba Andersson. I'm angry, very disappointed and damned, all at once, says a frustrated Therese Johaug.

The Norwegian icon made a comeback this season with gold in her sights at the home World Championship in Trondheim.

Two silvers after tight sprint finishes against Ebba Andersson are not something Johaug is satisfied with.

In Tuesday's 10km, the Norwegian was missing 1.3 seconds.

I have nothing to blame, it's just down to myself. She started a minute before me and I had all the opportunities to take her, says Johaug, who let out a deep sigh, or rather a growl, when she came to the media in the mixed zone.

Johaug set the five-mile race as the big gold target when she made her comeback.

This will be her last chance to take an individual World Championship gold in Trondheim.

I'm extra revenge-hungry anyway. The five-mile race has always been the goal with the comeback, so I'm really looking forward to Sunday's race that concludes the entire championship.
