It was this summer that sprint star Kristine Stavås Skistad broke up with her personal trainer.
At the same time, Skistad reported him to the Norwegian Ski Association's ethics committee for abuse of power and manipulation.
“It was about power and sexual harassment,” Skistad told Norwegian TV2 last week.
Johaug is upset by the accusations.
“It’s just sad. That’s not what sports are about. That’s not how it’s supposed to be. The whole situation is terrible,” Johaug says, continuing:
“I wish Kristine all the best and want her to be well. I feel for her and for what she has been through.”
