The World Cup premiere was blown away for Martin Nordqvist and Victor Knutsen. The two Swedish freeskiers had been looking forward to the first slopestyle competition of the winter, in Stubai, Austria, on Saturday, but strong gusts of wind meant that the organizer had to cancel everything.
The men's rowers didn't even have time to complete the qualifying round, which means that the entire competition is cancelled. For the women, the result from Thursday's qualifying round will also be the final result. The first World Cup victory of the year thus went to Swiss Mathilde Gremaud.
