Parts of the World Cup in cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, ski cross, and mogul skiing will once again be broadcast by SVT from the 2026-2027 season and for four years ahead, writes the TV channel on its website.
The Swedish Ski Association has sold the rights to all World Cup competitions in skiing and snowboarding held in Sweden to SVT, writes the association in a press release. This includes, for example, the cross-country skiing World Cup competition in Falun and the mogul skiing World Cup competitions in Åre.
Since the 2023-2024 season, all World Cup competitions in the sports have been broadcast by Viaplay. SVT has previously broadcast the World Cup in biathlon.
