On Thursday, the women were able to complete their qualification before the weather got worse. The men's qualification was interrupted on the same day due to strong winds and could not be resumed on Friday.
"It was really stupid that they cancelled after one run on Thursday. I think that both I and many other riders wanted to complete the course because it was good enough to continue, it was tough but it was absolutely rideable", says Swedish rider William Mathisen in a press release from the Swedish Ski Association.
"Really a shame that the last World Cup competition of the season was cancelled, personally I would have liked to complete the competition on Thursday but that's the way it is and you have to respect it", says Gabriel Almqvist
Novalie Engholm finished 29th in the women's qualification and was the only Swedish rider to bring a result from the final.
The next event for the Swedish snowboard riders is the World Championship in Swiss Engadin.
