“Many dreams have come true for me this year and I am truly grateful to be part of this fantastic team,” says the rally driver in a press release.
“We have to be realistic because we still have a lot to learn but we are going to have fun and do our best.”
The 24-year-old drove in the second highest class, WRC2, last season and secured the world championship title in September.
Last summer, Solberg drove in the top class – when he replaced Sébastien Ogier – and won the eighth round in Estonia. He then took the first Swedish victory in 28 years.
