The pressure was great already when the priority tickets were released at 2 pm to The Weeknd's concert at Strawberry arena in Solna on August 8 next year. Tens of thousands queued online to buy tickets in advance for the performance, via a credit card company.
Now it is clear that there will be another concert on August 9, announces the organizer Live Nation.
The performance is part of The Weeknd's world tour "After hours til dawn", which also came to Stockholm two years ago, then to Tele2 arena. Now the tour is described as a tribute to his album trilogy "After hours" (2020), "Dawn FM" (2022) and "Hurry up tomorrow" (2025).
Regular ticket release for both performances takes place on September 12. The Weeknd has Playboi Carti with him on the tour.
