The warnings apply to northeastern Götaland and parts of inland and eastern Svealand, and affect areas around Stockholm, Eskilstuna, Örebro, and Linköping.

During the night until Monday morning, a yellow warning has also been issued for large parts of Götaland and southernmost Svealand, as it may become windy with very strong gusts of wind.

For northeastern Ångermanland and southern Västerbotten, the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute has also issued a yellow warning for snowfall during the night. Those who must venture out on the roads are urged to drive cautiously, adjust their speed to the road conditions, and allow more time for their journey.

In addition, the authority is issuing a warning for wind in combination with snowfall on the mountainous regions of Dalarna, Härjedalen, and southern Jämtland during the night from Monday to Tuesday morning. A similar warning applies to northern Jämtland and southern Lapland mountains from Monday afternoon to Tuesday evening.
