3,800 – that many people have been killed in Lebanon, many of them civilians, since October 7 last year. It was then that terrorist-stamped Hamas attacked Israel and the Gaza War broke out – and Hezbollah expressed support for Hamas. On the Israeli side, it is reported that 80 soldiers and around 50 civilians have been killed.

94 billion kronor – that is how much the devastation in Lebanon is estimated to cost, with over 100,000 destroyed homes. In Israel, over 2,300 hectares of land have been burned.

1.2 million – that many people have been forced to leave their homes in Lebanon. Nearly 47,000 have left their homes in Israel.

14,000 – the number of attacks Israel is reported to have carried out in Lebanon. Iran-backed Hezbollah has carried out around 2,000 attacks against Israel.

Two months – that is the initial phase of the now agreed-upon ceasefire. During that time, Israel's military is to leave southern Lebanon and Hezbollah is to move its heavier weapons north of the Litani River.
