It has become significantly cheaper to refuel your car after the turn of the year – at least for those who own a petrol car.
On New Year's Day, the petrol stations lowered the price by 75 öre to 16.74 kronor per liter of 95-octane petrol. The background is a similar tax reduction, including VAT.
On the other hand, the diesel price has been increased by 25 öre in two days, including a tax increase of 11 öre, to 18.14 kronor according to the recommended prices at manned stations.
Electric car owners will experience a tax increase. At the turn of the year, the electricity tax was increased to almost 55 öre per kWh, including VAT.
