Rosa Kafaji scored her third goal for Brighton when she rescued a point against Liverpool in extra time in the English top division Women's Super League (WSL). Beata Olsson scored for the second game in a row for Liverpool.

For a long time it looked like Liverpool would take home the victory after Olsson's goal in the 26th minute. But in added time, substitute Kafaji made it 1–1, which was also the final score.

Kafaji is on loan to Brighton from Arsenal.

The draw means Liverpool have picked up their first point of the season, after seven straight defeats in the opening game. The team is second to last in the league, ahead of West Ham on goal difference.

After today's goal, Olsson has now scored two goals for Liverpool since she joined from Kristianstad ahead of the season.

In parallel, London City won against Tottenham 4–2. Spurs' Swedish Amanda Nildén was responsible for an own goal in London's 3–2 goal.
