The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute issues a yellow warning for the southeastern parts of Stockholm County. The warning applies to, among other things, the municipalities of Värmdö, Tyresö, and Haninge.
The warning for snowfall in combination with wind is issued from 7 pm on Friday evening to 7 am on Saturday morning.
"It may be difficult to get around in traffic due to snow on roads, traffic accidents, or stationary vehicles," writes the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute. Between five and ten centimeters of snow is expected to fall until morning.
A heavy snowfall will also move in over Gotland on Friday evening, and an orange warning has already been issued for the island. A yellow warning has also been issued for Öland and parts of Kalmar County.
