The Swedish economy is stagnant. The sentiment in the Swedish economy is still weaker than normal, according to the National Institute of Economic Research's (KI) monthly barometer.
The overall index rose marginally to 97.7 in January. The situation in the manufacturing industry deteriorated slightly, while the temperature in the service sector rose to its best since July 2022.
Households have become slightly more optimistic about the economy, primarily their own economy, and are now close to the historical average, according to KI.
