The Swedish krona is still the currency that has performed best this year among the most traded currencies in the so-called G10 group.

The exchange rate is 9.45 kronor to one dollar, and the krona has thus strengthened 17.1 percent this year, according to the Bloomberg news agency.

Other currencies that have performed well include the Swiss franc, which has strengthened 14.3 percent against the dollar, and the Norwegian krone, up 12.9 percent.

Among the currencies that have performed worse are the New Zealand dollar, which has only strengthened 1.6 percent against the US dollar this year, and the Japanese yen, up 1.7 percent.
