Two years ago, Detroit lost 28 straight games – a record in a single NBA season. Now, things are changing. On Tuesday night, the team won its 13th straight game, which is close to a club record.

Swede Bobi Klintman hasn't played in a while due to a sprained foot, but Detroit is going like a train in the North American Basketball League.

Away against Indiana, the club's 13th straight victory came via 122–117. Twice before, Detroit has shown a similar streak and both times the club won the championship, writes the Ritzau news agency. This happened in 1989–1990 and 2003–2004.

Detroit has won 15 of 17 games this season and tops the Eastern Conference.
