"We have established ourselves. All the best teams were here. It's a really nice feeling to win here," Andersson said to SVT.
Earlier in the day, the Swedes defeated France's Téo Rotar and Arnaud Gauthier-Rat 2–1 in the semifinals.
The Swedish duo then lost the first set - their only set lost in the Brazilian capital Brasília - but came back to win.
In the final, there was no suspense at first. Hölting Nilsson and Andersson dominated from the start and won the first set 21–16 without major problems.
The second set was long and close, but the Swedes came back to win it 21–15.
Swedish world number twos David Åhman and Jonatan Hellvig were eliminated in the round of 16.
