The run in Vars, France was measured at 234.83 kilometers per hour - a personal best - and gave the Swedish skier silver at the World Championships. The performance is the best of her career and means that she is the third-fastest Swedish female skier of all time.
Kling Andersson is not satisfied. She wants to be the fastest of all.
"Only 25 km/h left to chase before I'm completely satisfied," said the speed skier in a press release from the Swedish Ski Association.
Italian gold medalist Valentina Greggio was fastest at 242 kilometers per hour. French Ludivine Toche - 218.18 kilometers per hour - took bronze.
The weather was not optimal during the final, so the result from the semi-final determined how the medals would be distributed.
