Jumbo Liverpool took points at home against top team Chelsea in Super League football. Thank Beata Olsson for that. The Swede equalized to make the final score 1-1 in the 33rd minute after Alyssa Thompson had given Chelsea the lead early.

Olsson thanked forward Lily Woodham for the third goal in the Liverpool shirt since she left Kristianstad in September.

"I'm happy about the goals, but I'm just in the right place to receive great passes and the whole team is behind this," the 24-year-old told Sky Sports, BBC reports.

The loss of points means that the reigning champion team Chelsea – where both Nathalie Björn and Johanna Rytting Kaneryd started – is now three points behind league leader Manchester City after nine rounds.

For Liverpool, it was only their second point of the season and after eight games played, the team is in the lead.

Corrected version: In a previously sent text there was an error regarding Olsson's goal tally this season.
