Engvall joined Värnamo from Belgian Mechelen ahead of the 2023 season. During two seasons, the striker scored 14 goals in 52 Allsvenskan matches for the Småland club.

According to Aftonbladet, the Polish club is buying out Engvall, who had one year left on his contract with IFK Värnamo.

Engvall has previously represented English Bristol and Norwegian Sarpsborg abroad. In Allsvenskan, he broke through in IFK Göteborg, but has also been loaned out to Djurgården.
