Slight upturn on the Stockholm stock exchange

After opening on a minus, the Stockholm Stock Exchange turned upwards on Thursday and the broad OMXS index closed at plus 0.1 percent.

On the OMXS30 index with the most traded shares, the real estate company SBB was noted, closing at a plus of 6.6 percent, the mining company Boliden, which rose 3.2 percent, and the engineering company Atlas Copco, with an increase of 1.6 percent.

At the bottom of the OMXS30 were the investment company Kinnevik, down 1.3 percent, as well as the heat pump manufacturer Nibe and the game developer Evolution, which fell 1 percent.

At the close in Stockholm, there were different bids on the major European stock exchanges. London and Paris were clearly up, while Frankfurt danced around zero.

In Asia, it pointed downwards on most major stock exchanges.

Wall Street is closed on Thursday due to the state funeral of former President Jimmy Carter.
