The Stockholm stock exchange rose slightly on Wednesday. The OMXS-index closed 0.2 per cent up.

Among the most traded shares in the OMXS30-index, cloud service company Sinch rose 4.9 per cent and industrial conglomerate Atlas Copco 1.2 per cent.

Appliance conglomerate Electrolux rose 3.5 per cent following media reports that German competitor Bosch is considering a bid for American competitor Whirlpool.

H&M increased 2.1 per cent ahead of Thursday's interim report from the fashion chain.

Crisis-ridden property company SBB fell 15.5 per cent.

Storskogen rose 2.1 per cent after announcing the sale of nine business units and simultaneously taking a write-down of 920 million kronor in the second quarter.

The leading stock exchanges in Europe fell slightly during Wednesday's trading. The declines ranged from 0.1 per cent to 0.7 per cent.

The Stockholm stock exchange's OMXS-index has risen 7.8 per cent since the turn of the year.
