The stock market offered declining curves throughout Friday and closed in the red.

Among the few stocks on the large-cap list OMXS30 that kept their spirits up, SKF, the bearing manufacturer, and Saab, the defense conglomerate, stood out, with increases of 0.5 and 0.4 percent, respectively. The engineering company Atlas Copco and the major bank Nordea also climbed, plus 0.3 and 0.1 percent.

Sinch, the cloud service company, which closed at minus 2.9 percent, and Boliden, the mining giant, with a decline of 2.0 percent, fell the most among the most traded stocks.

As for the leading European stock exchanges, they pointed slightly downward in Frankfurt and Paris at the close in Stockholm, while London offered a lift.
