The Stockholm Stock Exchange did not hang on to the cozy atmosphere during the Lucia celebration, but instead pointed to a minus at closing. However, the decline was mild, despite being an unlucky day.

The Stockholm Stock Exchange's broad OMXS index fell 0.6 percent when Friday the 13th coincided with St. Lucy's Day. Friday's dip means a decline of 2.0 percent during the trading week.

Among the most traded shares, mobile operator Tele 2 and medical technology company Getinge rose 0.8 and 0.6 percent, respectively.

Construction company Skanska has secured two multi-billion orders in the USA. The share rose 1.4 percent.

Defense company Saab has received an order for the radar system Sea Giraffe 1X from the Swedish Navy, but the share fell 1.0 percent.

Downward pressure came from real estate company SBB, which fell 8.1 percent. The share dropped after SBB adjusted the terms for repurchasing and exchanging securities.

Another loser was measurement technology company Hexagon, down 2.2 percent.
