The State is selling the staffing company Lernia. The price tag lands at 120 million kronor and the buyer is the global investment company Aurelius.

Lernia has approximately 5,300 employees and had revenues of 3.5 billion kronor in 2023.

A mandate from the Riksdag to sell Lernia, the company formed by the old Amu group in the early 1990s, has existed previously.

"The company lacks a social mission decided by the Riksdag and operates on a well-functioning market. Therefore, there is no reason for the state to remain as owner," says Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson (The Moderate Party) in a press release.
