Violence against Israeli football fans in Amsterdam after the Europa League match between Ajax and Maccabi Tel Aviv has led to over 60 people being arrested, and five Israelis have been taken to hospital.
Now, football player Hakim Ziyech is supporting the violence, reports Expressen.
"When it's not women or children, they run away", he writes on Instagram, and continues:
"And still, free Palestine".
Ziyech was born and raised in the Netherlands, but plays for the Moroccan national team. He has previously played for clubs like Ajax and Chelsea, and is currently playing for Galatasaray.
One who has reacted to the statement is the Israeli national team player Eran Zahavi.
"Crazy terrorist supporter. I hope you see this and punish him, Uefa", he writes on Instagram.
