Stina Blackstenius started on the bench – but came to play a decisive role in the Women's Super League match at home with Liverpool.

After almost an hour of play, the Swede was substituted.

Half an hour later, the striker scored the winning goal, 2–1.

The 29-year-old looked to have squandered the opportunity but turned around and pushed the winning goal into the crossbar.

Before that, Liverpool's Beata Olsson had made sure to extend her goal streak. With the equalizer, she has scored a total of seven goals in the last five matches.

Arsenal are third on 19 points in the somewhat limping table. Manchester City are top on 24 and have one game less played. Liverpool are second on two.
