It will not be a Wimbledon for Andy Murray this year, writes Telegraph. The tennis star has undergone a back operation and the recovery period is estimated to be around six weeks.

This means that even the Olympics in Paris may be in danger for the 37-year-old. Wimbledon begins on 1 July and the Olympics begin on 26 July.

Murray has previously hinted that he will end his playing career after Wimbledon or the Olympics.

I probably do not have much time left, but I will do as well as I can in the last few months, he said in February according to AP.
