"Everything has its time and place in life. Now it's officially that I'm doing my third and final season in Paris Saint-Germain", writes the 38-year-old goalkeeper on Instagram.
Palicka doesn't reveal a new club, but writes:
"After this season, it's time for me and my family for new adventures, what that means for us will be seen in the near future".
At the same time, PSG announces on its website and confirms that Palicka is leaving in the spring.
The club has therefore extended with Palicka's Danish goalkeeper colleague Jannick Green for another season and also made a deal with young Danish goalkeeper Mikkel Løvkvist from July 2025.
Andreas Palicka has made 164 national appearances for Sweden and is a given in the upcoming World Championship in Norway, Denmark, and Croatia in January 2025.
Palicka was part of the team that took the European Championship gold with the national team in 2022, but the Olympic Games last summer was a disappointment when Sweden was eliminated in the quarterfinals.
Palicka, who has represented Redbergslid in two stints, has besides his years in PSG also been a foreign pro in German Kiel and Rhein-Neckar Löwen as well as in Danish Aalborg.
He has won the Champions League twice with Kiel, is a seven-time German champion, and a double French champion.
