Milan lost 1-2 to Fiorentina in Serie A football – then Theo Hernandez lost self-control.
The 27-year-old was quickly with the referee after the final whistle and complained.
Luka Pairetto's response: Red card.
Now the Milan player has got his punishment. He will be suspended and miss the matches against Udinese and Bologna, which will be played after the international break.
Hernandez was not popular with coach Paulo Fonseca after the match either, as the Frenchman took a penalty instead of regular shooter Christian Pulisic, which Hernandez missed, because he wanted to score on his birthday.
Milan has had a tough start to the season. The club is sixth in the league and has started the Champions League with two losses.
