The Sneakersnstuff chain (SNS) has incurred significant losses in recent years. Yesterday, the company filed for bankruptcy, according to the website Ehandel.se.
"During the past three years, the company has taken several countermeasures, but these efforts have not been sufficient to overcome the challenges," the company writes in a press release, reports Breakit.
Among other things, the company has closed stores in Japan and the USA and implemented staff reductions at its headquarters. Sneakersnstuff notes, however, that interest in exclusive sneakers has decreased in recent years.
The company has 68 employees in Sweden who are affected by the bankruptcy.
