I have absolutely no idea where this is going. But the goal is for him to be able to compete again, says the French national team's doctor Stephane Bulle.
The 30-year-old Sarrazin crashed during downhill training in Bormio on December 27 and was airlifted to hospital where he underwent surgery for a bleeding between the brain and skullbone.
He was able to leave intensive care a few days ago and will now recover at a neurological clinic in Lyon.
According to Bulle, several months of rehabilitation await.
He will start by doing things that everyone does, sitting, eating and standing up. He still has problems opening his eyes because he suffers from double vision.
He is very tired and has problems communicating. When you have been in a coma for a period, you are really exhausted.
Cyprien Sarrazin had his best season in the World Championship last year with four wins, three in downhill and one in super-G.
