The reigning champion team Dackarna from Målilla only finished fourth when the regular season ended, but stepped up their game when the playoffs began.

They won against Smederna from Eskilstuna in the quarterfinals. And then secured another final spot by winning against Västervik.

The semifinal success was founded on a 52–38 away win, which meant that Västervik had to make up 14 points in the return match.

The visitors did create some drama at the beginning, but were ultimately a beaten team. Dackarna secured their final spot after 43–47, with a total score of 95–85.

In the final, which will take place on September 17 and 24, they will face Lejonen. The Gislaved club won the first match against Kumla Indianerna with 53–37 and followed up with 51–39 at home.
