Her boyfriend, Roy Hernandez, confirms this to TMZ.
Daveigh Chase began her career at age seven. Her big breakthrough came in 2002 when she voiced Lilo in Disney's hit film "Lilo & Stitch."
That same year, she starred as Samara Morgan in the horror film "The Ring" - a role that earned her the "Best Villain" award at the 2003 MTV Movie Awards.
She also starred in television series such as "Bewitched," "Big Love" and "City Emergency," and had a role in the cult film "Donnie Darko."
In 2016, Chase retired from acting and experienced periods of homelessness. According to her boyfriend, she suffered from meningitis and a blood infection, which ultimately led to blood poisoning.
