An intensive investigative work is underway after a grown man and a child were found dead in a residence in Tollarp, Skåne, on Thursday. Another child has been taken to the hospital with injuries.

The work will continue over the weekend and individuals with connections to those involved have been questioned.

We are now waiting for a report from the National Board of Forensic Medicine, forensic pathologists, and also the technical report from the scene investigation, says prosecutor Pernilla Åström.

Otherwise, the prosecutor is tight-lipped about the case.

We are working on it, and when we have a clear picture of what happened, we will provide it, says Pernilla Åström.

What do the prospects look like?

I cannot comment on that.

A preliminary investigation into murder and attempted murder has been initiated regarding the children, and a death investigation has been initiated regarding the man.

It is not a murder investigation that has been initiated regarding the death, said police spokesperson Robert Loeffel earlier.

The adult person has, according to the police, a relationship to the two children.
