TV4 is broadcasting the Olympics for the first time. The sport will then be part of the channel's current affairs programs "News Morning", "News Day" and "After Five".

"The Winter Olympics will be present in our programs all day and it feels extra fun that we - the sports and current affairs programs - are doing this together," says Axel Pileby, who will lead the "Olympic corner", in a press release.

The broadcasts will be hosted by profiles such as Tilde de Paula Eby, Steffo Törnquist, Jenny Strömstedt and Anna Brolin, among others. Experts such as curling star Anette Norberg and other guests will also participate during the Olympics.

It has already been clear that ice hockey legend Henrik Lundqvist will be an expert in both SVT's and TV4's ice hockey studio.

In the biathlon broadcasts, six-time world champion Magdalena Forsberg and David Ekholm will be experts.

The Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina take place from February 6–22 and are broadcast on TV4, SVT and HBO Max.
