Mario Balotelli returns to Italian football. The Italian striker is clear for Serie A club Genoa.
He may make his debut for the club as early as Thursday against Fiorentina.
The 34-year-old last represented Turkish Adana Demirspor but has recently been without a contract. He has previously played for, among others, Inter, Milan, Liverpool, and Manchester City. The last time he played in Italy was with Monza in 2021.
Genoa has started the season poorly and is in 18th place, a relegation spot, after nine rounds.
