Sweden's Isabella Wranå was in the spotlight when she jumped the gun with her first curling stone at the Olympics in Italy. A few minutes later the lights went out - power had failed in parts of the arena in Cortina.

"You just have to take it as it comes. There's nothing we can do about it," says big brother Rasmus Wranå to SVT about the strange scenes.

It only took a few minutes before the lights worked again and finally the siblings were able to glide to a secure first-round victory against South Korea with 10–3.

Victory was already assured after the sixth round. The referee then decided to end the match - even though South Korea could theoretically make up for the deficit.

The players were surprised by the decision.

"It was a bit strange. They might have given up anyway. It didn't really matter in this case," says Rasmus Wranå.
