The book in the popular romance genre went viral last year and is set to be translated into more than 20 languages. Hulu is now adapting the self-published novel, with plans to turn it into a TV series, Deadline reports.
The story revolves around Harlow Carrenwell, whose poisonous lips kill every man she meets, which she uses to strengthen her family's power - until one day, a man does not react to the poison.
Other big titles in the genre are also slated to become films and TV series. Hulu has also picked up Sarah J Maas' "A Court of Thorns and Roses" and Prime Video has greenlit Rebecca Yarros' "Fourth Wing."
