The adventure film has grossed 10.4 billion kronor in global revenue, surpassing Nolan's 2012 film "The Dark Knight Rises," which grossed 10.24 billion kronor, without adjusting for inflation.
“The Odyssey” is currently the second biggest of the year after “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”, which grossed just over 15 billion kronor. Nolan’s film adaptation of Homer’s epic is also the second highest-grossing R-rated (15-year-old limit in Sweden) film ever, after “Deadpool and Wolverine” from 2024, which grossed 12.3 billion kronor.
