Alexander Isak had to break off the 1–1 match away against Crystal Palace already after just over 20 minutes due to a blow to the hip.
Now he says in an interview with Bein Sports that there is no danger with him.
I'm fine. It really hurt, it was a tough blow, but I've recovered well, says Isak.
Newcastle's manager Eddie Howe is a bit more cautious and says at Tuesday's press conference that he hopes Alexander Isak will be ready for the match against league-leading Liverpool.
We haven't seen him in training yet, but we don't think it's anything long-term, says Howe according to Newcastle's website.
Alexander Isak has previously this autumn been injured in the toe and missed matches with both Newcastle and the Swedish national team.
