Chuck Russell, the director behind films such as "The Mask" with Jim Carrey and "A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 - Freddy's Revenge", has died.
He also directed the films "Eraser" with Arnold Schwarzenegger and "The Scorpion King" with Dwayne Johnson. Russell was also active as a screenwriter.
He died on Wednesday at his home in San Diego, his lawyer confirmed to Variety. Chuck Russell was 74 years old.
