Kier has appeared in many of Danish director Lars von Trier's productions, including the TV series "The Kingdom" and the film "Melancholia." He has also starred in films produced by Andy Warhol, including "Andy Warhol's Frankenstein."
He was 81 years old, and died on Sunday morning.
