After winning the women's slalom and long jump Olympic silver medals on Saturday, the team received a video call from King Carl Gustaf. "They usually say you lose a gold medal, but this time you have won a silver medal," the king said.

The Swedes took silver after Ebba Andersson fell on a downhill slope and lost a ski in Saturday's Olympic relay. She then had to propel herself on one ski until she got a new one.

King Carl Gustaf says in the video call, which was recorded and shared on the official Swedish

for the Olympic participants, that the recovery the women made will go down in history.

It shows the "fighting spirit" that you have. And Ebba, fantastic. What a scoundrel! says the king, whereupon the women burst into laughter.

I've never seen a cross-country skier fly through the air like that. It was amazing.
