The King condoles South Korea after the plane crash

King Carl Gustaf has sent a condolence telegram to South Korea on the occasion of the plane crash on Sunday that claimed 179 lives. The telegram is addressed to the acting President Choi Sang-Mok.

"The Queen and I wish to express our deepest condolences on the occasion of the many lives tragically lost in the accident in Muan on Sunday. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the affected families and to the Republic of Korea", the King writes in the telegram.

The accident is classified as the most severe in the country's history.
