"Swedish industry continues to be in an expansionary phase, although the pace slowed somewhat in October," says Jörgen Kennemar, responsible for the analysis of the purchasing managers' index at Swedbank, in a press release.
The Purchasing Managers' Index for Swedish industry fell in October to 55.1 from 55.6 in September. An index figure above 50 indicates increased activity in the sector.
