The Huthi movement in Yemen claims responsibility for a drone attack on central Israel.
According to a statement from the Iran-backed movement, a ballistic missile was fired at a "military target" in the Tel Aviv area, and a drone was sent towards Ashkelon in southwestern Israel, just north of Gaza.
The Israeli military previously reported that it had intercepted a missile fired from Yemen towards the country.
The Huthi movement has repeatedly sent drones and missiles towards Israel since the Gaza war began, but almost all have been stopped over the Red Sea.
