The information is partially confirmed by the production company Amazon MGM Studios, which has taken over the rights to the Bond franchise.
"The search for the next James Bond has begun. We do not plan to comment on any details during the casting process, but look forward to sharing more news with fans as soon as we are able," the company said in a statement.
It's been five years since Daniel Craig's last film as James Bond, "No Time to Die." Since then, a number of actors have been rumored to be taking over the role of Agent 007 in the next film, which is set to be directed by Denis Villeneuve. Among them are Callum Turner, Jacob Elordi, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
