Reuters reports that the long suspension is due to the American sprinter making three mistakes in the crucial whereabouts reporting during the period July 2025 to April 2026.
Marvin Bracy-Williams is already serving a 45-month ban after admitting to doping last year. The new ban will take effect after the current one expires. This means the 32-year-old, who has a world championship silver in the 100m and a relay silver at the 2022 World Championships in Eugene, will not be allowed to compete until 2040.
But that won't happen. Several international media outlets are reporting that, following the new ruling, he has chosen to end his career.
